Sharing An Umbrella…

Though there wasn’t a cloud in the sky on our wedding day, one of our favorite moments was spent huddling beneath the “love” parasol I’d purchased from Etsy seller iDoOriginals.

These shots, courtesy of Alex Neumann Photography and one gorgeous California sunset, left us entirely elated.

LESSON LEARNED: A parasol makes a fun prop that can allow for some absolutely beautiful photos, all for less than $50. This is one accessory that is definitely worth working into your budget.

Are there any special wedding day props or accessories you plan to use?

  2. Beautiful photos! I am loving those "Hooray!" and "Just Married" bunting flag banners on etsy. I may just have to order one of those today :)

  3. LOVE IT! I almost did parasols and now I wish I had. Although we didn't have quite the same brilliant sunny weather as you did!

  4. I love the one of the 2 of you under it!

We didnt have any props (we just had proper umbrellas in case it rained and wellies for the wet ground!)

My friend who just got married in Italy had a gorgeous parasol and think they got some great shots too.

  5. So cute! I wish we'd had props, but the hubs thought it would be corny. Oh well, at least I can look at your eye candy photos!

  7. We had parasols for me and my BM's but I didn't think to use it any of the shots with Mr Fix It...I was so out of it and my dummy photog didn't suggest the prop for our pics either :( As a matter of fact, I don't even know what happened to it after the big day?!? But I am jealous of your shots for sure!

  9. I plan to have a "One Love" parasol for my fiance and I to share on our wedding day. I think it will make for a great picture prop and keep us shaded a little since we're having a beach wedding and I'm sure it will be hot!
