Heather is a writer, lifelong romantic and former editor in chief of the Weddzilla Blog. Married in June 2010, she planned a long-distance wedding in California while juggling a busy life and Capitol Hill career in Washington, DC.
Throughout the past several years, Heather has gained
recognition within the online wedding community by sharing inspiration and
advice via her blog, Bicoastal Bride, and as a featured blogger for such
well-known sites as Weddzilla, Get Married, WedAlert, The DC Ladies, All
Women's Talk and Brit + Co.
She has been featured in Get Married Magazine and SELF
Magazine, and was also interviewed live on Blog Talk Radio. Heather served as a
founding board member for the charity Wish Upon a Wedding DC, holds a wedding
coordination certificate from Northern Virginia Community College and obtained
a master’s degree in publishing from The George Washington University.
