The more I read about these sassy shoots, the more I’m impressed by the number of women who say that although the session was first intended as a gift to the groom, in the end, it was a gift to the bride, instilling a greater sense of confidence and empowerment. Still, as a fairly modest girl, I’m not sure how comfortable I’d feel going before the camera for a shoot like this, or whether I’d be able to loosen up enough to allow the photographer to really capture the best shots.
What do you say, girls? Have you done a boudoir session, or is it something you’d consider? If so, what advice do you have for brides and newlyweds thinking about giving it a go?
So far, for me, I guess this is about as daring as it gets…

Would love to have a boudoir photo session for myself!
I thought of doing this actually as a first anniversary gift but while I think Kristian would like the photos he would probably think it's a waste of money. He doesn't get the whole spending lots of money on professional photography thing. For the wedding it was one thing but beyond that he doesn't get it so I don't know how much he would appreciate it.
I think boudoir sessions seem really fun, but I don't think my fiance would be that into it. I'm sure he'd like it, but probably wouldn't go out of his way to look at the photos over and over. While it'd be a fun experience, I think it would end up being a waste of money for us. I'd rather do a post-bridal shoot instead.
I really like other people's b-pics, but they really aren't my style. Or my husband's.
I feel like I would probably just look back on them later and feel sad that I wasn't all young and hot anymore hahaha.
It's not my style either but can totally see how it could be fun!
I'd love to do a boudoir session. Although I think I'd either need a really good photographer that makes me feel at ease, or a good friend to make me laugh. And maybe a strong drink?
A friend of mine who is a photographer was going to do them for me but I was so busy that I never got a chance to do them! One year anniversary perhaps?

I'm definitely doing it for an anniversary present! J would love...of course he'd probably like it better if he is the one taking the pictures! Hee hee ;)

Im not sure I would be brave enough either; altho I did love the pics on our wedding day once I got into it so maybe it would be the same?

Yes, I'm planning to do one and give it to him the night of our wedding when we return to our suite or the first night in Hawaii on our honeymoon.
