  3. Our wedding was Saturday and we left on Monday morning which worked out perfect. We had all day Sunday to go home, unpack wedding stuff, repack honeymoon stuff, look at some pictures and eat leftover wedding food. Oh and watch the Series Finale of LOST that night. I can't imagine having to get up early the next morning to catch a flight but I can see why logistically people have to.

  4. Going to check out your post now! I wish we had two full days between the wedding and the honeymoon, since my husband's mom had another event for us the day after the wedding. It was stressful getting home late, then trying to pack for our 7 a.m. flight on Monday!

  6. Nice post! We left for our honeymoon the day after and it worked out fine for us. Because we had a daytime wedding, we were able to get a good night's sleep on wedding night and didn't have any post wedding events planned. We did have to worry about packing for the trip before the wedding but it wasn't too bad. :)

  7. We were married on a Sunday and left for on honeymoon the following Saturday or 6 days after our wedding. It was great having some real down time between the wedding and honeymoon. We stayed in our swanky honeymoon suite for 2 full days, hung out with friends and fam who were in town for the wedding, put our wedding clothes in the dry cleaners, and opened our gifts and deposited wedding checks/cash since we didn't want them sitting around while we were out of town.

  8. We got married Saturday and left for honeymoon on the Monday as I wanted to have a little time to say bye to people and I knew we wouldnt want to end our reception early.

Since we ended up going to bed around 3.30am that was def the best decision for us but I can totally see why you had to go the next day to make sure you got the honeymoon you wanted.

I am so glad we did decide to go fairly soon after the wedding as I would not have wanted to go back to work inbetween!
