DC Ladies Post: Wedding-Planning Web Standouts

As bloggers, we already know how many great resources are out there on the web when it comes to wedding planning, along with which ones have been the most helpful to us. So, to help newly engaged brides who are just getting started, I’m sharing info about three of my favorite planning sites – Weddzilla, Get Married and WeddingWire – over on The DC Ladies site.

Feel free to check out the post, whether for yourself or to help a fellow bride-to-be, and share your own opinion. Which online sites have you found to be the most helpful in your planning?

  3. Those 3 are definitely important. I would also include wedding wire and wed alert where you can get other brides reviews.

  4. All of the sites you named are great! I thought the weddingbee boards and wiki were very helpful as well.

  5. You are really blooming Heather!! Congrats!

And I would love for you to guest post about either. I think the pros and cons honeymoon tips would be great. I'll message you my email on Twitter!

  6. I actually think some wedding sites helped me figure out what I didn't want in a wedding. Which can be just as helpful. For example, sites like stylemepretty and weddingchicks are really fun to look out, but I quickly realized that vintage chic was not my thing!

  7. Favors are another aspect of the wedding planning process most couples are willing to delegate. Some couples may be willing to allow a trusted friend or family member to shop around for favors and select appropriate favors for the wedding.
