And I do feel that I have found it within the wedding world, where I’m able to find just the right balance of creativity and organizational logic in all that I do, whether managing a team of bloggers, writing a piece, or helping a bride plan her day. Of course, one of the most fun and exciting parts of all is the chance to interact with celebrities and other big names in the industry!
Since I started blogging, I’ve been able to connect and network with some truly fabulous people, including former Get Married CEO Stacie Francombe, Bridal Guide Editor Diane Forden, and respected wedding author Sharon Naylor. And now, this week, I had the amazing opportunity to interview celebrity bride DeAnna Pappas, of Bachelorette fame, who will be joining our Weddzilla team of bloggers every other Friday!
I’m so excited about welcoming her to Weddzilla, and can’t wait to share her story with our readers as she preps for her wedding this October. Visit the link above to check out the interview, and stay tuned for her first post! Have you ever met or connected with celebrities or big names in your field?
So exciting!! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool! The only celebrity I've been able to meet through my job so far is Phil Donahue who was speaking at an event I had to go to.
ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting! I'm so happy for you that you are loving your new field. I met U.S. Supreme Court Justice Kennedy when he was invited to re-dedicate my law school, but I think that's it for my celebrity encounters in the field :)
ReplyDeleteWhat great news!!
ReplyDeletemet a basketball star who gave us tickets to go to a game in miami while on vacation but other than that..nada! i love deanna!
ReplyDeleteThat is just so amazing!! Congrats, Congrats, Congrats!!! <3 I met Gavin Degraw once at his concert! :) LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the love on my blog always, but we dont have a feed right now for the Wedding site, only the main parent site. Ill get the head editor to work on it with the tech team. <3
If you just copy and past the link of the site that may work?
Happy Weekend
So exciting!
ReplyDeleteWe have musicians come into my work every so often (Far East Movement was in a month or so ago), but I never get to meet them, just gaze at them from a distance from my cubicle!
That's so awesome, Heather. Every now and again I get to chatting with celebs...mainly because I'm very into music. I've even foraged a friendship in the past year and a half with Ken Paves (celebrity hairstylist to jessica simpson, jlo, ashlee simpson, nicole richie, lady gaga...and more). He's been really sweet and sent me alot of stuff of his, and is just overall a nice guy. It's so nice when you find celebs that are genuinely nice. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool! You've had so much great news to share lately...go you!
