You see, just when I thought our Honeyfund registry would be a total bust, gift certificates started arriving a couple weeks before the wedding. Not only am I touched by the incredible gestures from everyone who traveled to the celebration, but I’m especially blown away by the kindheartedness of those who couldn’t make it, but still put the thought into sending caring wishes our way.
And it wasn’t just Honeyfund that left us pleasantly surprised. We got lots of things off our traditional registries that were “wishful” items we thought might be too extravagant for anyone to buy.

Great gifts. My wedding is still over 1 1/2 months away and we received our first gifts from someone who won't be making the wedding and the gift was a set of beautiful crystal candlesticks from Tiffany.

ReplyDeleteWe got some really nice stuff too. I was very excited. Though I must admit I'm surprised that we didn't receive a gift from a few of Kristian's relatives. I know some people send gifts later on but after talking to his mom she said that those relatives are known for that kind of thing. That really surprises me especially since they all have money so it's not a financial issue.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it the coolest? Mr Fix It just mentioned how we made out at our wedding this week. We got ANOTHER honeyfund gift last week almost 2 months after our wedding! So crazy...glad you got blessed with some wonderful treasures and a great honeymoon!
